Shelley lives at the playboy mansion, and dreams of being a Playboy centerfold. The day after her birthday, she receives a letter telling her she has to move out. Ending up at the Zeta sorority house, a house in desperate need of pledges and money to stay open, she helps the girls, all outcasts at college to become sexier to get what they need, while they help her with a guy she has a crush on.....

The House Bunny shouldn't work. It's got a mixed message, suggesting that girls need to use their sexiness to get what they need, while at the same time saying being yourself, with some confidence, and you can get the same. So in that sense I don't think it completely works.

However, it is very funny in places. Anna Faris is showing herself to be a very funny actress, and keeps the humour coming through-out. Hers is the best performance here. The actress's who play the girls in the house are all different, but give good performances too, with the possible exception of Emma Stone as Natalie, the girl in charge of the house. It's not that she's a bad actress. I saw her recently in The Rocker and she was very good there. It's just that here, she seems to be trying too hard to portray the 'nerd' side of her character. It's not a bad performance, just a little uneven.

The script has some good one-liners in it, and director Fred Wolf keeps things moving at a brisk pace. It's not the funniest teen comedy I've seen, but it has enough moments to keep you smiling, and for it's running time is an enjoyable movie.

Sinopsis
Filem ini mengisahkan tentang seorang penerbit yang mempunyai himpunan skrip. Beliau di dalam proses menghasilkan sebuah filem seram tetapi menghadapi masalah untuk mendapatkan satu skrip filem.
Beliau telah mengarahkan pembantunya mengiklankan dalam suratkhabar harian mengenai perjumpaan kepada mereka yang boleh berkongsi cerita – cerita seram berdasarkan pengalaman atau cerita – cerita yang pernah didengari oleh mereka.Cerita yang terpilih akan mendapat imbuhan. Perjumpaan tersebut diadakan di sebuah tempat yang strategik.
Pada malam yang ditetapkan, penerbit tersebut telah pergi ke lokasi yang telah ditetapkan. Kedatangan beliau telah dinantikan oleh seramai 9 orang peserta yang telah bersedia untuk berkongsi cerita seram dengan beliau. Perjumpaan pada malam tersebut telah dirakamkan dalam bentuk video sebagai bahan rujukan beliau.
Cerita dimulakan dengan cerita pengalaman penerbit itu sendiri iaitu dengan menceritakan kisahnya yang berlaku semasa beliau mula – mula menjejakkan kaki ke menara gading.
Cerita diteruskan dengan pencerita kedua sehingga yang terakhir.
Setelah selesai, beliau merasa puas hati dengan koleksi cerita yang telah diperolehinya. Setelah mengucapkan terima kasih kepada semua, beliau pun pulang.
Pada keesokkan harinya, sewaktu penerbit itu sedang menyiapkan skrip tersebut, pembantu peribadinya memaklumkan kepada beliau mengenai sambutan iklan yang telah disiarkan dalam suratkhabar dan ramai yang berminat untuk berkongsi kisah mereka. Pembantunya juga mengingatkan bahawa pada malam hari ini perjumpaan tersebut akan diadakan.
Penerbit tersebut terkejut dan mulai berasa hairan kerana perjumpaan tersebut telah pun diadakan pada malam sebelumnya. Kerana tidak berpuas hati dengan mesej yang disampaikan oleh pembantu peribadinya, beliau telah memainkan semula rakaman yang telah dirakam pada malam tersebut. Tetapi beliau sangat terkejut apabila mendapati hanya audio sahaja yang kedengaran tanpa ada visual di dalam rakaman tersebut.
Yang menjadi persoalannya, siapakah orang yang ditemui pada malam tersebut. Beliau sendiri tidak pasti. Yang pastinya, beliau telah memporelehi bahan cerita yang diingininya selama ini.

Synopsis
Could a loving husband fulfill his late wife's wishes? This movie tells a tale of Saadom who is a successful Nasi Kandar businessman in Pulau Pinang. His wife's last wishes before she passed away to take good care of their daughter Mia, changed Saadom's life forever. From a very buzy businessman who is so infatuated with his Nasi Kandar business, Saadom changed into becoming a very dependable father who is very much focused on her daughter's life. As Mia, grows up she gets a bit annoyed with her father's endless care and devotion towards her which at times seem to much to handle. Her friends are also annoyed with Uncle Saadom who tends to follow Mia wherever she goes. Saadom hugs and kisses his daughter in front of her friends, during lunch break Saadom would come to the school to send some lunch meals for her and her friends but this is not well appreciated by her friends because the Nasi Kandar would ruin their diet. He would also be often seen in the school premises in order to make sure of Mia's safety and sometimes he is being forced out of the school by the Principle.

A huge dilemma arises as Mia is all grown up and ready for University life. Saadom wishes that her daughter would proceed with her studies somewhere near Pulau Pinang but Mia chooses otherwise in order she could be far away from her father. Saadom gets panic and have no idea on how to fulfill his late wife's wishes to take care of their daughter.

Brothers is something we may have seen before - if not in its original incarnation from Denmark in 2004 then The Deer Hunter - then it is something that surprises just on the vulnerability, subtlety and ferocity of the actors in their roles. It's not about what the trailer pushes, which is an affair between a guy (Jake Gyllenhaal) and his sister in law (Natalie Portman) while the one guy's brother (Tobey Maguire) is away at war. There is one scene of that, but that's not really what the film is 'about' per-say. It's about the personal affects of war on one man, a horrific tragedy that befalls him, and how he has to live with that the rest of his life, specifically in front of his wife and children. Maguire's Sam says it simply towards the end: "Only the dead see the end of war. I have seen the end of War. How do I go on living?"

The Princess And The Frog (2009) DVDRSCR XviD
I felt like a little kid again seeing The Princess and the Frog; apparently so did most of the theater, as the crowd seemed to be generally from 8-30 years old. From the second I walked in, I realized this was a movie that was going to span groups(and it did, in the end). The other adults in line with me split almost evenly with tickets for this versus Invictus.

The animation is gorgeous, the characters are absolutely unique and took me by surprise, and even the parts in trailers that I thought were going to be awful turned out to be brilliant when put into the context of the rest of the film. I haven't enjoyed Disney this much since Mulan(and vaguely, Brother Bear). The music also seems to permeate the movie; many people that review and find something wrong, find so much song and dance to be odd- but what they don't realize is that the movie itself was always intending to play off of the Jazz era it is set in. If you love music, however, you'll love this even more. The music is what gives all the more charm to it, and it pays off.

The only reason that I am giving this a nine of ten is because I try to never give movies a ten unless it literally changed my life somehow. This came close, though- I was having so many flashbacks to my childhood during the Disney Renaissance. It was nostalgic for me, above all, and classic Disney animation that I will probably end up spending more money on when such moments roll around. I am most certainly going to find the soundtrack, because the music just made it so alive.

Zuma 2: Zuma's Revenge!

In Zuma's Revenge!, the familiar frog sails across the title screen on a make-shift raft, and eventually washes up on the Polynesian island of Zhaka Mu. The lush new tropical setting offers up six stages including a jungle, an undersea grotto, and even an active volcano, which serve as backdrops for more than 60 new levels.

Introduces new power-ups, including Laser Frog - literally, a laser that shoots from the frog's eyes and can destroy up to four balls with pinpoint precision; Lightning Color Nuke - a power-up that destroys all balls of a certain color on-screen; and the Tri-Shot power-up, which sends three powerful cannonballs barrelling through anything in their paths.

What else is new? Well, there are levels where instead of rotating the frog in the middle of the screen, it slides along the bottom like Breakout or Arkanoid and shoots directly up. Some levels also have more than one strategically-placed lilypad, so players can make the frog hop from one side of the screen to the other to come at the line from different angles.

Oh... and did we mention boss battles? That's right. The frog isn't exactly given a warm reception by the island's natives when he arrives on Zhaka Mu, and if he wants to continue his adventure he'll have to defeat the six evil tiki spirits that preside over each region.
